What is Colorfulia?
Colorfulia is a community SNS for diversity. This page introduces who the service is for and what kinds of experiences it values.
The concept
Colorfulia is a place where LGBTQ+ people and others with diverse backgrounds, along with allies and supporters, can share feelings and everyday life in relationships where they feel at ease.
You can use it in ways such as:
- Keeping longer diary-like posts with photos and video
- Connecting loosely in communities around shared interests
- Preferring trusted exchanges over broadcasting to the general public
Interactions on Colorfulia are based on respect for diversity. At the same time, speech that denies diversity itself, or behavior that undermines that sense of safety, is addressed under the community guidelines so people can be themselves.
Experiences that feel unique to Colorfulia
Where many social apps lean toward “reach more people / grow the numbers,” Colorfulia prioritizes the following:
| Difference | On Colorfulia |
|---|---|
| Not open to everyone at once | Invitation-only, starting from people you know |
| Follower counts and virality aren’t the point | Depth of relationships and heartfelt exchange matter more |
| It’s not only a flat global feed | Communities gather people around themes and interests |
| Hostility and denial of diversity aren’t left alone | Guidelines, moderation, and reporting help keep the space safer |
It’s an SNS centered less on “being seen by as many people as possible,” and more on “connecting with people you trust, at your own pace.”

Invitation-only
Access is limited to people who receive an invitation (email or link) from someone already using Colorfulia. That helps keep a sense of safety through personal connections, rather than a sudden influx of strangers. See “Getting started” below for more.
Relationships over numbers
Colorfulia values who you’re connected with and what feelings you exchanged more than virality or reach. Likes! and comments are designed as ways to share feelings with someone—not as vanity metrics.
Communities
You can take part in community spaces where members with shared interests or themes gather. Alongside one-to-one Friend connections, having “places to meet around the same topics” is part of what makes Colorfulia distinctive.
Safety
Community guidelines, moderation, and reporting tools help create an environment where people can use the service with more confidence.
To start using the service
Colorfulia is invitation-only. You can’t create an account on your own right away—you need an invitation from someone already using Colorfulia.
If you don’t have an invite yet, ask a friend or acquaintance who already uses Colorfulia. For registration steps, see Support: Getting started.
Next step
Once you’ve registered with an invitation, set up your My Space in First steps after signing up.
